$.25 from each ticket purchased will go to The Shout Syndicate, a Boston-based, volunteer-run fundraising effort who raises money to help fund youth-led arts programs at proven non-profit creative youth development organizations in Greater Boston. BAMS Fest Inc. is a nonprofit organization that breaks down racial and social barriers to arts, music, and culture across Greater Boston. Through education, entertainment, strategic partnerships, and year-round programming, we celebrate and support both artists and audiences, with an emphasis on Black and Brown voices, perspectives, and artistry. Through corporate support and over 100 partnerships with local cultural institutions, BAMS Fest has been able to pay over $450,000 to more than 800 Black and Brown artists and cultural workers for performances, gigs, and speaking opportunities since 2015.
