In 2024, DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut LP, “YOU’RE A WOMAN, I’M A MACHINE” — a genre bending iconoclastic cult classic that sounds as fresh today as it did in 2004.
Dubbed “dance-punk” by the gorfed-out UK press, their music doesn’t suggest, it commands those who hear it onto an under-lit Saturday-Night-Fevered dance floor.
To celebrate, the band are playing furiously around the world all while endeavoring on a year long recording project to re-invigorate and honour their iconic flagship album.
20 years is a long time for rock n’ roll, but the odometer turns slowly for this power duo and their sound is as explosive as ever. Join them on their anniversary and revel in two decades of absolute electricity.
