$.25 from each ticket purchased will go to The Shout Syndicate, a Boston-based, volunteer-run fundraising effort who raises money to help fund youth-led arts programs at proven non-profit creative youth development organizations in Greater Boston. Artist Information
Center Mid is the folk-rock brainchild of lifelong friends Stephen Higgins (vocals, guitar), Scott Kaplan (guitar), and Matt Lowerre (banjo). After years of backyard jams in the suburbs of Boston, Steve relocated to Boulder, Matt set up shop in LA, while Scott stayed true to his New England roots with a move to Cambridge, MA. Despite their individual careers outside of music, the songwriting never stopped, and the trio soon discovered that their sound wasn’t born solely from their extensive shared history, but also the half-decade they’ve spent living apart.
Encouraged by an incredible response to teasers on social media, Center Mid released its debut single, “Cross Country Blues (demo),” on 5/15/26. The track has racked up nearly 1 million streams since its release, and the band has turned its focus towards more releases and a slew of unannounced tour dates later this year.
