Artist Information
HAYLA has delivered her majestic, powerful voice all throughout the world of music. Growing up in Liverpool and immersed in sound from an early age, her relationship with music feels instinctive rather than deliberate. One of her earliest and most formative influences was Whitney Houston's Bodyguard album, a record that left a lasting emotional imprint and set the tone for her deep connection to vocal expression and feeling-led music. From performing in bands around the UK and teaching singing lessons, to taking the stage at the Hollywood Bowl with deadmau5 and closing out Coachella, HAYLA's journey has been one of quiet, unstoppable momentum.
She is now one of electronic music's most recognisable and in-demand voices. Her GRAMMY nomination came via "Escape," her collaboration on deadmau5 and Kaskade's celebrated LP Kx5, and she became a Gold-certified artist through "Where You Are," her smash co-write with John Summit. Both tracks alongside Summit collaboration "Shiver" reached #1 on SiriusXM's BPM, giving her the top song three years running. She has since added further Dance Radio #1s to her name: "Without You" with Kygo, "Another World" with MEDUZA, and the operatic "In My Arms" with ILLENIUM, which features on his #1 Billboard Dance Album chart project ODYSSEY alongside collaborations with Ellie Goulding and Ryan Tedder. Her collaboration with multi-platinum pop icon Nelly Furtado, "FADED" released via Casablanca Records is a haunting, cinematic dancefloor anthem that melds electronic atmosphere with emotional storytelling, and earned HAYLA a nomination for Best Collaboration at the Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs).
As a solo artist, HAYLA released her debut album DUSK (Restless Minds Music/Believe UK), earning a cover slot on Spotify's Mint playlist and a "Hottest Record" accolade on BBC Radio 1. Among its standout singles, "Visions Of You" reached #2 on Mediabase's Most Played chart at dance radio in 2025 and broke into the top 10 on Billboard Dance Airplay a landmark moment for HAYLA as a solo artist in her own right and commands over 6.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
In late 2025, HAYLA embarked on a headline North American tour, following a landmark summer that included debut appearances at major PRIDE festivals across the U.S., two solo sets opening for Kygo at Ushuaïa Ibiza, and support slots at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The tour culminated in sold-out shows at iconic venues including El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles and appearances at major festivals including ILLENIUM's Ember Shores.
Now, HAYLA enters an exciting new chapter. She is nominated across multiple prestigious awards in early 2026: an iHeartRadio Music Award for "In My Arms" in the Dance Song of the Year category and four EDMAs including Female Artist of the Year, Vocalist of the Year, Dance Radio Artist of the Year, and Best Collaboration. She won a Femmy Award for Best Vocalist at Miami Music WeekShe and is also set to make her solo debut on the main stage at EDC Las Vegas in May 2026, having already appeared on the EDC Mexico main stage.
On the 18th March, HAYLA took to the stage at St Pancras Church in London for an exclusive show performing entirely new music from her upcoming album, a bold statement of intent and a clear signal of her musical evolution.
That album represents HAYLA's most personal and ambitious work to date, one that draws from a wide and unconventional palette: progressive metal, electronic music, melancholy singer-songwriter traditions, and atmospheric storytelling. Influences range from Chelsea Wolfe, Deftones, and Nick Drake to classical and jazz. The album was not planned or over-produced, it "just happened," guided by atmosphere and emotion rather than genre or trend.
HAYLA describes her sound as "sad bitch music": emotionally heavy yet hopeful, melancholic but empowering. Themes of loss, love, grief, and resilience run throughout. Rather than offering answers, the music holds space allowing listeners to find their own meaning. New single "Heal" was released on 10th March. The message at the heart of it all is simple but powerful: you are not alone.
